Compass Resorts at Silver Beach Towers at 1050 U.S. 98, Destin, Florida.

We came to the condo on Saturday and were very impressed with the resort. We were ready to have a relaxing time at the beach, little did we know they were doing construction all week going up and down the building on scaffolds. We had no idea this would be the case, we could have prepared for some work or decided to come another week. The worst part was speaking to the management, who were aggressive. They did not care that there was literal jackhammering going on right on our balcony at 8 am. They posted “signs”...which said that a crew would be painting the building. With management being absolutely no help and not caring about those staying here, I’m sad to say we would much rather go somewhere else. Having some sort of inclination of what would be going on would’ve been great rather than being woken up every morning, not having a balcony, and making sure every window is closed so workers won’t see in. Luckily, my daughter wasn’t in the shower, which has a large window in it, as the workers very easily could have seen right in. If you’re looking for a relaxing vacation and a management company who actually cares about customer service and their guests having a relaxing time at the beach, definitely go somewhere else.
